First Time in Oregon – NAR’s GREEN Designation is here!

The National Association’s popular new GREEN Designation comes to Oregon December 1-3, 2009. To earn the GREEN Designation you must complete the Core Course and one of the program electives, both of which will be offered at this session
 
This Designation provides real estate professionals with knowledge and awareness of green building principles applied in residences, commercial properties and developments to help consumers in purchasing, retrofitting and operating green properties.
  

Course objectives include:

 
  • Green building concepts, principles and practices
  • Financial advantages of properties that are eco-friendly and energy efficient
  • Regulatory issues, zoning and building codes as they relate do sustainability
  • Sustainable communities and land planning
  • The significance of LEED, Energy Star and other rating systems.

Online Registration Options

3-Day Green Designation & Elective Course
To earn NAR's Green Designation you must complete the Core course and one elective course.  This 3-day selection fulfills this requirement.

2-Day Green Designation Core Course
To earn NAR's Green Designation you must complete the Core course and one elective course.  If you take this 2-day course, you will eventually be required to take an elective course.

Green Designation Elective Program

To earn NAR's Green Designation you must complete the Core course and one elective course.  If you take this 1-day course, you will eventually be required to take the 2-day core course.
