Become a REALTOR®

To sell real estate in Oregon, you are required to hold a current real estate license from the Oregon Real Estate Agency. A REALTOR® is a licensed real estate broker that has joined the National Association of REALTORS® (and appropriate state and local associations). The word REALTOR® is a licensed trademark for use only by our members. The benefit of being a REALTOR® is the value, professionalism, and character that REALTORS® uphold. You are no longer merely a real estate licensee, you are a REALTOR®

The value of your membership gives you far more in benefits and services than you pay in dues. This value will help you earn more through education, networking, and connecting while reducing your risk and liability.

If you’d like to take advantage of all that membership in the REALTOR® organization has to offer, start by:

  • Obtaining an Oregon Real Estate License
  • Joining the National Association of REALTORS®. To do this you must first join the appropriate local and state chapters. Contact a local association/board nearest you today for more information!
