Carbon Monoxide Detectors to be Mandated under State Building and Fire Codes
The Oregon Association of REALTORS® will be working closely with the DCBS and the State Fire Marshall over the next 18 months to ensure a smooth transition to this mandate. We will keep you informed about the details of HB 3450 and the new requirements as the rulemaking process begins.
Free Internet Networking Survival Skills Web Seminar set July 29 The first technology webinar, July 29th, will focus on a platform and corresponding strategies to help REALTORS® increase their competitive edge. The seminar will be presented by Sara Bonnert, a real estate broker, an expert on social media and the Director of Broker Services for Zillow. Zillow co-founder Richard Barton built Expedia.com and recently launched Glassdoor.com, the website where employees can rate their workplace. Zillow is one of the private tech companies in the running for the AO Global 250 competition, along with Facebook, Kayak and Tesla Motors.
