John’s northwest connection goes back to the 1980s when he graduated from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Tacoma. He went on to serve as the Government Affairs Director and CEO for the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS® in Washington State. Before relocating to the east coast, John served as the Executive Vice President of the Washington Association of REALTORS® from 1997-2000.
Wallace holds Masters Degrees in Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership. In 2006 he completed his Ph.D. studies in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in business. John and his wife Nancy have three children, two daughters and a son. The family plans to relocate to the Salem area as their children complete middle school and high school.
Wallace is charged with overseeing the daily operations of a 14-person staff that serves nearly 15,000 members statewide.
