Government Affairs

OAR Government Affairs Committee helps form and recommend policies concerning legislative issues affecting the real estate industry and private property rights. OAR Government Affairs Committee reviews and analyzes legislative proposals for their effect on the real estate industry and communicates with Association leadership and members concerning legislative and regulatory issues.

In addition, they develop new and refine existing, programs and activities that bring members into direct contact with the legislative/regulatory process. There are 18 members on the committee and one staff liaison, Jeremy Rogers, OAR Political Advocacy Director.
