A select group of Oregon REALTORS® applicants are selected each year to participate in the Oregon Leadership Academy (OLA). Applicants who are not admitted one year are encouraged to apply again next year.

Applicant Considerations

Here are a few things you’ll need to know as you consider your application.

Attendance

Each participant is expected to attend all 3 sessions, which will include public speaking, on-camera interviews, homework between sessions, and a group project.

Those who cannot attend all 3 sessions may be asked to withdraw, with no refund of tuition.

2027 Session Dates

Session 1: February 17–19 at Oregon REALTORS® offices, Salem
Session 2: April 14–16 at Five Pines, Sisters
Session 3: June 23–26 at The Independence Hotel, Independence

Each session begins at 1:00 p.m. on day one and ends by noon on day three.

Cost

$895/person, which includes three training sessions, some meals and instructional materials.

Selection

Participants are chosen by the Oregon Leadership Academy Selection Committee, based on the information on each application. OLA applicants are active in the industry, government or community-based organizations, and reflect the diversity of the organization.

2027 Oregon Leadership Academy Application

Applications must be submitted no later than close of business on October 1, 2026. All applicants and admitted participants must be a member of Oregon REALTORS®.

As part of your application, you’re asked to provide a photograph that’s appropriate for publication, and posting on the Oregon REALTORS® website and other social media channels.

Terms and Conditions

I understand that to graduate from the Oregon Leadership Academy, I am expected to attend all 3 sessions with each session being 3 days. (Required)

I understand that, upon acceptance, the $895 tuition must be paid in full by January 3, 2027, or my acceptance will be revoked. I am expected to pay the tuition from my own resources, employer, or outside support from individuals, organizations, businesses, or a combination of the above. Oregon REALTORS® reserves the right to deny any requested refund of tuition after acceptance and payment.

I understand if I am selected, the required tuition fee includes training sessions, some meals, and instructional materials. All travel and lodging costs are my responsibility.

Each class member must make accommodation reservations at the specified hotel for each of the three sessions. Exceptions may be granted with appropriate notice and approval.

If I am selected, I will devote the time and resources necessary to complete the program. We understand that emergencies arise. Due to the nature of the program, any participant missing a class day or session may be asked to withdraw from the program, and no portion of the tuition shall be refunded.

I understand that Leadership Academy sessions will include public speaking, on-camera interviews, homework, and participation in a group project that will require additional time between sessions.
