Why Did You Choose a Career in Real Estate?
“I was in retail management for 13 years and was burnt out. At about the same time I met a couple of real estate leaders, and they kept telling me I should get into real estate. I went to a real estate career night and left telling myself that I need to move forward with a career as a real estate professional.”
His Advice to Those Just Starting Out:
“Volunteer and network every day. Know your market statistics and get as much training as you can. Take a top producer to lunch and do open houses every week.”
For Brian, life outside real estate is just as fulfilling. This June, he and his wife became grandparents for the first time, adding a new joy to their lives.
When not navigating the housing market, they indulge their love for travel, good wine, and cooking. “My happy place is having a bunch of friends and family over for food and drinks.” he shares, highlighting the joy of gathering loved ones around the table.
Travel remains a passion, with a desire to travel to London, Ireland, and Italy and discovering more countries to travel to.
Brian also emphasizes the importance of kindness in daily life. “We do not know what kind of day the other person is having,” he advises, reminding us to practice compassion.
