Why Did You Choose a Career in Real Estate?

“Becoming a real estate agent and running my own business has always been an interest of mine so when I got to a point in my life where I was able to make a career change I decided to pursue this dream.”

Since becoming a REALTOR® 6 years ago, Evonne has earned her AHWD, ePro, MRP, PSA and C2EX.

Her Advice to Those Just Starting Out:

“Anyone planning to start a career in real estate should have a second source of income until you build your client base.  Every lead or referral you get will prepare you for your future clients.  Always find a way to let any person you meet know you are a real estate agent and you’d be happy to help them or anyone they know with their real estate needs.  Join a committee and get to know other real estate agents. ”

Outside of real estate, Evonne is a Chamber Ambassador for Klamath County and serves on the Snowflake Committee, which plans Klamath Snow Festival.  She is also a member of Soroptimist International of Klamath Falls, a volunteer service for women.

On Her Bucket List:

“I would like to try ziplining some day.”
