With a background rooted in heart, service, and community, Jennifer Hicks entered the real estate profession in 2015 after time as a stay-at-home mom, searching for work that would restore her sense of purpose while allowing her to make a genuine difference in people’s lives. Today, as a broker with dC Real Estate and a proud member of the Eugene Association of REALTORS®, she brings more than a decade of licensing experience and 12 years in the industry to every client relationship.
What began as a personal leap of faith has evolved into a career defined by leadership and commitment. She currently serves as an Oregon REALTORS® Director for 2024 and 2025 and has recently completed the Oregon Leadership Academy, an experience that deepened her passion for advocacy and professional growth. Her dedication to excellence is reflected in her credentials, which include SRS, ABR, MRP, and the C2EX certification.
At the core of her business is a belief that real estate is about people first. Her advice to new agents is simple but powerful: build your sphere, nurture your relationships, and become obsessed with understanding your market. Staying informed on trends and truly knowing your community, she believes, is the key to serving clients with integrity and confidence.
Beyond contracts and closings, Jennifer is a proud theater mom to a thriving teenager who keeps her constantly on the go. She also channels her love for service through Comicare NW, where she cosplays as Wonder Woman to bring joy to children in hospitals and at community events, often supporting fundraising efforts for Children’s Miracle Network and other local causes. A lifelong fan of sci-fi, she treasures quality time with family and friends and believes laughter and imagination are essential parts of a full life.
Looking ahead, her bucket list is filled with adventure, from another solo journey to Iceland to future travels through New Zealand, Australia, Eastern Europe, and eventually a tropical destination yet to be chosen. But no matter where her travels take her, she remains grounded in gratitude for the growth she’s experienced through involvement at both the local and state levels.
She often reflects that getting more involved in the REALTOR® community was something she never knew she was missing, and now, it’s one of the most rewarding parts of her career. Through leadership, service, and a whole lot of heart, Jennifer Hicks continues to prove that real estate isn’t just about property; it’s about people, purpose, and showing up for your community every day.
