After years in Corporate America, Rashelle Newmyer realized she wanted more than a traditional career. She wanted autonomy, purpose, and the ability to make a real impact. In August 2018, she lept into real estate, quickly discovering a profession that offered not only independence but also the opportunity to build meaningful connections and guide clients through some of life’s most important decisions.
Rashelle has become a respected leader in Oregon’s real estate community. She served as 2024 President of the Portland Network of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® and currently contributes as a 2025 State Director for Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (PMAR) within Oregon REALTORS® and a member of the 2025 Oregon REALTORS® Professional Development Committee. A 2024 graduate of the Oregon REALTORS® Leadership Academy, she holds advanced credentials, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Performance Management Network (PMN), and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), reflecting her commitment to excellence for clients and fellow REALTORS® alike.
Believing strongly in the power of community, Rashelle encourages new agents to get involved with their brokerage, local associations, and industry groups. Her own career was transformed through the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, which introduced her to opportunities within PMAR, Oregon REALTORS®, and other affinity groups, along with friendships that continue to enrich her both personally and professionally.
Outside of real estate, Rashelle embraces a “work hard, play hard” lifestyle. She enjoys exploring local wineries, breweries, restaurants, and events, traveling with family and friends, and indulging her love of Disney as a passionate Disney Adult. She also serves as Oregon Director for the Women to Women Network, guiding leadership and professional development initiatives, and hosts the Realtor Who Wines Podcast, launched in March 2025. A former corporate social media manager, she enjoys creating content that inspires, educates, and connects her community.
Rashelle’s bucket list includes attending an Olympic medal event, visiting Disney Tokyo and Disney Paris, becoming a top real estate coach, and owning a wine tasting room. Through leadership, mentorship, and a client-focused approach, Rashelle Newmyer demonstrates that real estate is about more than transactions; it’s about connection, purpose, and building lasting community.
