Life Service Member
Life Service Members shall have been members of the Oregon REALTORS® for not less than twenty-five (25) cumulative years, be at least sixty-five (65) years of age, or have experienced a permanent health disability, and have performed notable service to Oregon REALTORS® and local Associations or the community.
Notable Service Requirements:
- Service to Oregon REALTORS® for a minimum of 3 years
- Service on local Association committees or board of directors
- Volunteering with an accredited community volunteer program or charity
- Serving on a City or County committee, board, council, or commission
State Life Service Member Application Guidelines:
a) Applications for the Life Service Member status must come from the individual member via the local Association Executive
b) All local Associations will be notified of the guidelines and provided with the appropriate information and application(s)
c) State Life Service Member applications will be reviewed and approved or disapproved by the Executive Committee
d) Successful applicants and their local Association Executive will be promptly notified
e) Members receiving the Life Service Member status will be recognized at the annual governance meeting
f) Receiving Life Service Member status will exempt the recipient from paying Oregon REALTOR® dues beginning the year following recognition
