OAR In-Person Meetings Cancelled

| March 13, 2020

March 13, 2020 – In response to the growing public health concern regarding the COVID-19 virus, Oregon Association of REALTORS® is taking the precautionary step to postpone all planned events, utilize Zoom conferencing for all scheduled committee meetings. All staff and volunteer travel will be determined on a case by case basis.

Effective March 13, OAR will not be conducting in-person meetings and will conduct all meetings via Zoom video/conference call. OAR will continue to review this policy weekly as new information becomes available.

This decision is based on the announcement from Oregon’s Governor regarding a statewide ban on gatherings of more than 250 people as well as health officials confirming more cases of the virus in Oregon.

OAR is cancelling the following events:

Professional Standards Training, March 24-26 – Bend

Spring Governance, April 8-9 – Salem Convention Center

This decision follows similar decisions from NAR and other organizations around the country. Updates will be posted on oregonrealtors.org.

We appreciate your understanding and support and we will continue to provide updates as things evolve. For additional information please review the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website and NAR’s Guidance for REALTORS®.
