Year in Review

2019 was an exceptional year for the Oregon Association of REALTORS®. We had over 800 REALTORS® show up and support our industry at REALTOR® Day at the Capitol, we passed several bills to help our industry, we launched the first ever training program for Principal Brokers (Principal Broker Academy), and we had a record year of RPAC Major Investors.

In addition, we placed a significant focus on professional development by hosting more than 100 classes around the state along with new workshops and designations. We are also excited about the continued growth of the Diversity Committee as well as the continuation of the Oregon Leadership Academy.

We had several amazing events throughout the year; Spring Governance and Fall Convention and of course the fundraisers for the HOME Foundation. OAR is proud to announce we donated $186,500 in grants to local boards to support organizations in the local communities.

2018 was an exceptional year for the Oregon Association of REALTORS®. We passed several bills to help our industry; the Principal Broker Advanced Real Estate Practice required course and the First Time Home Buyer Savings Account Program. We had a record year of RPAC Major Investors and we raised over $2 million in grants to fund issues around the state of Oregon.
 
In addition, we placed a significant focus on professional development by hosting more than 100 classes around the state along with new workshops and designations. We are also excited about the formation of the Diversity Committee and to be bringing back the Leadership Academy in 2019.
 
We had several amazing events throughout the year; Spring Governance and Fall Convention and of course the fundraisers for the HOME Foundation. OAR is proud to announce we donated nearly $200,000 in grants to local boards to support organizations in the local communities.
