Oregon REALTORS® provides risk-management education, business tools and services to reduce risk, increase profitability and keep members abreast of current issues affecting the real estate industry. Oregon REALTORS® also works on the members’ behalf with ethics education and Code enforcement to maintain and enhance REALTOR® professionalism.

Why should I use a REALTOR®?
REALTORS® are committed to treat all parties to a transaction honestly and subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics. They are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate. Read about the full benefit and value of using a REALTOR®.
How do I file a complaint against a REALTOR®?
Read about the grievance and ethics complaint process, then request Ombudsman services or submit an ethics complaint if your experience matches the criteria laid out in the Code if you believe a REALTOR® has violated the Code.

At this time, we only offer legal advice for Oregon REALTORS® and affiliate members enrolled in our Legal Hotline program.
What is the Legal Hotline?
The Oregon REALTORS® Legal Hotline empowers members to ask real estate-related questions of an attorney specializing in real estate and contract law. Oregon REALTORS® supports members on a variety of topics including but not limited to disclosure, license law, contracts and offers.
How much does Legal Hotline cost?
The Legal Hotline is a no-cost member benefit! It is available to all Oregon REALTORS® members.
How do I submit questions to the Legal Hotline?
The Legal Hotline is open to all members.
Once you’ve completed a Memorandum of Understanding, email your question to legal@oregonrealtors.org.
Questions are typically answered within two business days. There may be delays around the time of state and national conventions.
